Brigid, Saint Brigid, also known as Brigid of Kildare, is one of the three Patron Saints of Ireland, along with Saint Patrick and Saint Columba. St Brigid’s Day is the 1st of February, also called Imbolc, celebrating the end of winter and the beginning of spring.
The Celtic goddess Brigid became Saint Brigid and is honoured by both Pagans and Christians. Traditionally Saint Brigid’s Cross, made from woven rushes or straw, hangs by the door of a house. It is thought to ward off fire, hunger, illness and evil spirits from the homes in which it is displayed for the year ahead.

Leo helped me find the perfect flag from the wallcraic inventory for use in our St. Patrick's Day parade and took extra care to ensure it arrived quickly. I ordered the Saint Brigid garden flag -- it's well made and is just as pictured on the wallcraic site. My shopping experience there was great from start to finish! Thank you Leo! Cathy G.
