Collection: BRIGID

Saint Brigid, also known as Brigid of Kildare, is one of the three Patron Saints of Ireland, along with Saint Patrick and Saint Columba.

St Brigid’s Day, also called Imbolc, is traditionally celebrated on the 1st of February,  about halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, marking the beginning of spring.

Traditionally Saint Brigid’s Cross, made from woven rushes or straw, hangs by the door of a house.  It is thought to ward off fire, hunger, illness and evil spirits from the homes in which it is displayed for the year ahead.

We offer you our Brigid's cross as a vibrant wood print, crafted from FSC-certified birch wood, on canvas or as a garden flag.
